Our losing streak continues.....both on the field and with the mascots. This weekend we went to a Kernels game at Dale & Thomas Popcorn Field (It is all about the corn in Iowa). They lost! Which makes us about 0 and 15 for cheering on (or "cheer up" as RoWan says) the winning team at a baseball game. If we attend the game....our team looses. And as for our luck with the mascots.....
This is what happened when we went to a Cardinals game last fall.
We went to eat breakfast at the Hilton across the street from the ball park. As we were waiting to be seated Fredbird came over to see RoWan. When she turned around and saw him right beside her, she let loose with a scream worthy of a horror film and headed for the door. Everyone in the restaurant had been watching the antics of the mascot, so the entire scene was witnessed and enjoyed by all. We thought she had recovered from the shock of this experience when she asked to be Fredbird last Halloween. We were wrong!

2nd Best line of the night: Matt - "Who bought RoWan that whistle?....Michelle?!"
